Hi Susan, are you part of TTN?

I totally like your approach!

Hi Stephanie! I used to be part of TTN, and the content is really helpful but it wasn’t a right fit considering I was about the only one based on the other side of the world. How are you enjoying Substack?

I like it. I’m wanting to start my own pretty soon.

Welcome back Susan! It sounds like a great break and perfect (for you, not me!) that it included a dip in the cold sea.

I love your focus on habits versus results. I treasure my morning routine too and I’ve enjoyed getting back to it. I’m also follow Suleika Jaouad’s prompts.

You probably know how much I enjoyed being out in nature in the late spring, summer and fall. And now I’ve been staying cooped up inside away from the cold. I’ve got to bust through that barrier, throw on a coat and get outside more. It’s so life-giving and also feeds my writing and art.

Hi lovely, Aimee! Happy new years to you, and I hope you had a restful December with the family. …hahaha yes, a dip in the sea at this time of the year is not for everyone.

It really is about treasuring our mornings and something I neglected for a while. Suleika’s prompts are beautiful and she also has a warm community. Curious to hear about your morning rituals…

I know that winters are not your favourite seasons, as for me, so I do need to push myself to get outside even if it’s freezing. So far it’s working out so far since I’ve made the commitment, though it’s good to hear it feeds inspirations for your creativity.

I’m still behind with Substack and catching up to peoples post, but looking forward to getting around to what you have been sharing and creating.

Best wishes for a creative year 💛

Happy new year to you too, Susan!

We had snow here this week and I took one winter wonderland walk (and even made a snow angel to surprise and delight my teenage daughter) but haven't ventured out since!

Still there has been more space and rest this week while being snowed in and having everything canceled (like the dentist).

Looking forward to all that you will share this year. 🥳

Hoi Maurice! I’m not sure where Yorkers is but curious to check it out. Cycling to France for a research project sounds adventurous. Hopefully you’ll be sharing about it, sounds very interesting for sure. Where in France will you be travelling through?

Thanks for your comment, and good luck on your trip.

I am happy to find your substack. My favorite things to do are journaling, sketching, and taking walks in nature, so it's fun to read about your experiences and plans.

Spent half my life doing just that, beats the rat race for sure....

Hi Lynn, I’m happy you found my substack and enjoyed it! Great to hear we have a lot in common. The combination of journaling, sketching and connecting to nature is just so simple yet so fulfilling. Are you sharing your experience with it on Substack?

Thanks for your lovely comment 🌼

I wrote a Substack for two years and stopped it at the end of 2023. It was focused on Oxford, and I said all that I wanted to say about that topic. I am still writing, sketching, and connecting with nature--but not sharing that anymore, except in random comments.
