What a fun challenge! I want to get back into morning walks, so this might be the perfect way to give me an incentive to get out and back to play in my sketchbook!
I'm thinking I'll snap a pic as I'm walking and then sketch when I get home. Possibly I'll work in watercolour in a little A7 journal I used to use for morning sketches, where I would paint the view out my back door as I had my morning coffee.
Hi Susan, I love the idea of starting a daily sketchbook practice. I recently started one but haven’t even drawing every day and only have two drawings so far. I’m a complete beginner. I. Glad to have found your Substack and have subscribed. Thank you for commenting on my note earlier. ❤️
Hi Jennifer, thank you sharing. Two drawings is a great start, and just keep going even if it’s only once a week for less than ten minutes. It’s always hard at the start but also a lovely time to explore and try out new things.

Hi Rachel - thanks for sharing your thoughts! Maybe a combination of morning walks and creating in your sketchbook might work for a challenge…. 🧐
What medium are you using at the moment?

This sounds like a very inspiring way to start your day, how did you go? Curious to discover your view from your journal 🌼
