Yes I can see Buddha too! 🤲 Isn't it interesting when we see things repetitively like that. Love seeing your jellyfish pictures.

It’s great when we let out imagination run wild! I’m starting to wonder if the locals from the area call it the Buddha cliff? ☺️

Thank you, Bron 🪼

Thanks Susan! We’re staying near to Rouen for a week, so Etretat is a possible day trip. Any other tips are very welcome 😊

Well, if you do get the chance to visit the coast make sure you try moules de frites with cider 😋 I can’t wait to hear about your trip!

Beautiful photos, Susan 🪼

I’m currently in a queue at Dover waiting to board the ferry over to France. We’re staying in Normandy for a few days and I’m hoping for a visit to the beach whilst we’re there.

How exciting! I took the same boat drive this summer - but the other way around ☺️

Not sure how long you’ll be in Normandy but hopefully you’ll have time to drive along the coast because it’s a spectacular view!

Etretat is hands down my favourite place in Normandy but you need to arrive early because it gets really busy at the parking! And if you’ve been watching LUPIN on Netflix (second season) it’s a lot of fun to explore the town and find hints of LUPIN inspiration.

Also, Wissant is another place we keep going back to for the surf but overall it’s small and beautiful. Great for a little stop over.

Let me know if you want some more tips, happy to share them! Enjoy 💛

Thanks for taking us to the shores of Brittany! I grew up near the coast (walking distance) in the States and I often think if I could just live near the beach again, EVERYTHING would be better. Anxiety, chronic pain, whoosh, out with the tide. I understand how meditative it is to walk on the beach and look for treasures. If there were chocolate croissants from France involved, double the healing power.

Love the jellyfish and amazing that you have seen so many. Can't wait to see what you're bringing us next in your art adventures.

I'm glad to hear that, thank you! I also believe that living by the sea can be quite therapeutic and healing!

There's a thalassotherapy center in Roscoff, Brittany, which involves the therapeutic use of seawater and was opened in 1899 (which is mind blowing to me!). Although we didn't go in, just walking around the area, the scent of the sea is remarkably powerful, especially that of the seaweed. It's like walking in a field with cows, except it's seaweed, and you're right at the beach. It's an intense smell and I get it why the salt in this area is also amazing.

I'm sorry to hear that you struggle with anxiety and chronic pain. Hopefully, having the woods and nature around you helps you cope with it when you need it xx
