Cornwall is such a magical place. We spent a week there two summers ago and it was just beautiful. My favourite place was Trebah Gardens near Falmouth. Your photos and paintings are so evocative. Happy to have found your page!
I suspect there’s a lifetime of places to discover in Cornwall. We were so lucky to be there during a week of beautiful weather and the swim and picnic on the beach was so memorable (despite the jellyfish). Hope you manage to visit at some point!
I just need to move to Cornwall! Picnic on a beach are the best, but the jellyfish are harmless around this area, right? I love them and it’s probably why I love painting them ☺️
Oh gosh everything looks so beautiful, such lovely memories and photos you have captured. I would definitely love to visit Cornwall and have cream and scones too... I'm for jam first... always!! 😉
Sounds like jam first is the way to go! It’s such a great place for nature photography in Cornwall. I hope you get to see this part of the world someday soon 🐑
It's the raining and cold part that my husband always reminds me about when I say dreamy things about moving to a place like Cornwall. I tend toward sunshine and warmth. But for a view, I'm willing to stretch a bit!
I found my way over to your website and really enjoyed checking out your art. Love the colors and those plants! I used to use gouache more often, I love its vibrancy. Love your focus on play!
I don't make art for a living, but art-making tends to calm the chaos in my head and helps when the world is getting to be too much, so I don't know that I will ever stop making it. I include it in my newsletter because its part of me and because I hope to encourage others in their creative pursuits as well.
Husbands can be dream crushers when reminding us of real cold days in winter. I have the same wish about moving to Brittany in France. It’s great in a warm day but painfully windy even in summer.
Thank you for checking out my artwork and for the kind words!!! I love working with gouache but I really need to make time for it and have the space. I’m hoping to start a new series when I get back home and work with bright colours again.
I hope you never stop maki g art and that your including it in your newsletter since it’s part of your lifestyle. Looking forward to learning more about your creative journey

Thanks so much for your lovely comment! I really appreciate it.
I am adding Trebah Gardens to things to see for the next time, it looks beautiful. There’s so much yet to discover!

I’ve always wanted to visit Cornwall! Looks like I won’t be disappointed if I make it there sometime.
I’m always bringing too many art supplies or leaving them behind and wishing I had them. I need to find the right in between.
Even if it’s raining and a bit cold, it’s an amazing place! But I hope it’s all sunshine and warm weather when you visit it there.
I never get it right with art supplies either. And to top things up, I found a huge art shop and bought two more sketchbooks today 😬
Curios to see your artwork, lovely to connect with you.
