Day 1: ROSE
Painting roses might seem daunting with so many petals, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, once you try it a few times, you’ll discover it’s simpler than you think and incredibly fun!
The idea of this challenge is to create an impression of a rose, making the process easy, relaxing, and spontaneous. We are not aiming for a perfect-looking rose. Instead, focus on enjoying the creative process, experimenting with colour and painting more loosely.
What you need:
Gouache or watercolor paint
Sketchbook or watercolour paper
Pencil (eraser)
Tissue (napkin)
Two water jugs
What to expect:
Learn how to paint with ease
Find inspiration from references
Have fun painting loosely
What you will get:
A 2-day flower painting video series, designed to be easy to follow
The option to leave comments, ask questions, interact with others, and share your art with us (optional)
Video 1: Art Supplies
Video 2: Reference & Sketchbook
Video 3: Let’s paint roses!
Remember, there is no such thing as a perfect line or shape. Enjoy the process.
Video 4: Bonus Video (creative process)
